- His early experience in introducing dramatic new technologies began when he successfully launched and developed a company based upon a radically new textile process that revolutionized production methods
- He later operated J. R. Allen Consulting, providing valuable business-, project-, and construction-management services to a wide variety of clients in diverse markets
- For over 20 years he has been a founding partner in Space Technology Inc. (S.T.I.), providing a unique engineering and construction process for lifting the existing roof of industrial buildings to 2 or 3 times their original height
Each involvement has had a remarkable positive impact upon related industries and clients involved.
While his family is his continuing priority, he has been associated with many social and business groups, most notably as Executive Director of the Long Island Executives Network, and active member of the Warehouse Solutions Group.
This history, combined with his formal education in Marketing and Management, have enabled him to lead his own companies, and others, to increased success and profitability.
